The Macedonian Community of New Jersey (MCNJ) would like to inform you that our 3rd ANNUAL MACEDONIAN FESTIVAL - 2009 is CANCELED due to circumstances out of our control.
The Macedonian Community of New Jersey (MCNJ) works hard on finding a suitable location for next year, and we would like to ensure you that next year the festival it will be stronger, better and bigger then last year.
This project began in 2007 when members of our local Macedonian community met and decided best showcase the Macedonian heritage to the New Jersey and the New York area.
The purpose on this Festival is to commemorate the independence of Macedonia, and the strong partnership between the United States and Macedonia.
The Macedonian Community of New Jersey (MCNJ) marked the Independence Day of Republic of Macedonia by posting the Macedonian and American flags on the streets of Garfield. We would like to express gratitude to the Mayor of Garfield, Mr. Frank Calandriello, City Manager of Garfield, Mr Thomas Duch and the members of the council for their help and support to our cause.
The Macedonian Community of New Jersey (MCNJ) would like to congratulate 8th of September, the Independence Day of Republic of Macedonia to all the Macedonians in New Jersey and the United States.
